Testimonials

“I have been a SPLASH Day School Parent for 10 years now and I truly believe that there is no other program better fit to help my husband and I raise our boys.  From day one the atmosphere has always been welcoming, loving and most importantly safe. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that when I drop my children off that they will be protected as well as loved. They truly treat all children as their own! The curriculum is excellent and provides both the academic portion as well as bible studies. They help my child be better prepared for when he starts school as well as maintaining his relationship with God. I will forever be thankful for the teachers and staff of SPLASH and highly recommend every parent to bring their children to become a part of the SPLASH family.”

“As someone who attended SPLASH Day School from 2006-2015, I cannot recommend this place enough! Every staff member showered me and my siblings with so much love as if we were an extension to their own families. Even now as an adult, I still appreciate all of the efforts that went in to life, school, and church lessons we learned everyday. My most fond memories include after-school activities with all of my childhood best friends, Summer excursions, and Christmas concerts that my entire extended family always enjoyed. My family has always had a great relationship with the staff at SPLASH, and even now as an adult, I am still in contact with my former teachers who still show me so much love. I am both eternally grateful and proud to have been apart of such a wonderful community and I will forever cherish the memories and life-long connections I made at SPLASH!”

“As a grandparent of children who attend SPLASH, my heart is always at ease. The care that the staff gives to the children is heartfelt, giving, and beyond comparable to others. Not only do they tend to the daily needs of the children, but they exceed in the education, nutrition, and safety of the children. Our family is truly blessed to be a part of the SPLASH family.”

“Since sending our daughters to SPLASH we have watched them come out of their shells and blossom into wonderful children. The curriculum has taught them many skills that has prepared them well for their start in kindergarten. Not only do they prepare them with an academic advantage but they receive their start on a life long journey with God and Christ, the staff at SPLASH are amazing at what they do for our children.”

“SPLASH has made an everlasting impression on the person I am today. The staff are the most supportive and have become family over the years. I recommend this day care to every family!!! As an adult now who once was a SPLASH kid, I can assure you that your children will receive every ounce of attention, all the help they may need with school work, the best support and encouragement; all while having the most memorable time of their lives.”

“We would like to take a moment and tell you about our experience with SPLASH Day School.  As grandparents of grandchildren who attend SPLASH, we have been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the support that the they are continually extending to our grandchildren.  We experience their friendly and compassionate nature whenever we drop off or pick up our grandchildren, which is quite often.  We are confident in knowing that they are in a safe and nurturing environment and we need not worry about them while they are there.  Every staff member that we encounter, greets us and knows our grandchildren by name and are always there to lend a hand.

SPLASH Day School is such an enriching environment for all children.  Not only do they get to learn academically, but they also incorporate the values of the Bay Shore Community Church into their learning.  In addition, they have many extracurricular activities for them to participate in, such as, gymnastics and church events.  We are thankful that our children were able to find such a loving and nurturing center for our grandchildren.”

“I truly believe that God has a plan for each one of us and what we believe are “curveballs” may actually be God’s perfect pitch. When I was only 3 months pregnant with our first daughter, I applied to a Learning Center in close proximity to our home. I was assured she would be taken by the time I had to go back to work; however, this door was shut. A few weeks before I was scheduled to go back to work I found myself scrambling to find a Learning Center. SPLASH Day School was one that I called. I was nervous about leaving my baby with people I did not know and I walked into Orientation Day very skeptical. I could not have been more wrong. The team at SPLASH Day School literally opened their arms to her and I felt right at home- there was no doubt in my mind this was where we were supposed to be. As she grew, SPLASH became a second family who cared and loved her as much as we did and she loved all of them in return. I was amazed at the knowledge she would bring home and how fast she was learning new things.

Soon enough, we found out we were having another little girl and before we really told anyone, our family at SPLASH could tell right away and started helping us to get her enrolled! When our second daughter was born, we were surprised to learn that she had a physical abnormality in her leg and foot that would make some of her milestones more difficult and she would have a tough road ahead of her. We weren’t sure what her journey would hold but Rachel and the team at SPLASH were quick to meet with us and lend their support that they would be with us every step of the way (no pun intended 😊). They have since upheld their end of the deal and have been eager to learn what her needs are and what next steps she has in front of her. Bottom line is, SPLASH has been one of our biggest support systems.

SPLASH Day School is not just a group of babysitters who we drop our kids off to and run off to work. They are educators who have been a driving force in our daughters’ lives educationally and emotionally. They are a part of our family and are curious about what is going on in our lives and we want to learn what is going on in theirs. They work tirelessly all day long with all different children and are able to come to them through all the temper tantrums and milestones that are thrown at them and teach and help them. For a mom that drops off early and picks up late, this is important to me - to know and trust that my girls are in safe hands. Like I said in the beginning, I don’t think finding SPLASH was a last minute convenience, I believe it was God’s plan for our girls to be accepted by SPLASH. I couldn’t be happier with the team and the care they provide. ‘You are where God wants you to be at this very moment. Every experience is part of His divine plan.’ ”
